What is the best time to visit Andaman?

The best time to visit Andaman is from October to May, when the weather is pleasant with clear skies and calm seas. This period is ideal for sightseeing, island hopping, scuba diving, snorkeling, sea walking, and other water sports. If you’re planning a honeymoon or family vacation, November to April offers the most comfortable travel conditions. While the monsoon season (June to September) brings lush greenery and fewer crowds, heavy rainfall may occasionally disrupt ferry services and outdoor activities.

How many days are enough for an Andaman tour?

A 5 to 7-day itinerary is ideal for exploring Port Blair, Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep), and popular attractions while enjoying beach activities and sightseeing.

Do Indian citizens need a passport to visit Andaman?

No, Indian citizens do not need a passport or visa to visit the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, as they are a Union Territory of India. You can travel using a valid government-issued photo ID, such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, or Passport. However, it’s advisable to carry the same ID used for your flight booking and hotel check-in to ensure a smooth travel experience. Foreign nationals may require additional permits for certain restricted areas.

Which water sports can I enjoy in Andaman?

Popular activities include scuba diving, snorkeling, sea walking, parasailing, jet skiing, glass-bottom boat rides, kayaking, and banana boat rides. Availability depends on weather and sea conditions.

Can I customize my Andaman tour package?

Yes. You can freely customize your itinerary, hotel category, sightseeing, ferry options, adventure activities, and trip duration according to your budget and preferences.
